About the Artist
I love to paint for family, friends, myself and to honor great artists.
'It's just paint; nobody dies.' My art teacher and a renowned artist, Joyce Hall.
I started painting on ceramic tiles 8+ years ago after watching Juan Omar Torres, an artist in San Sebastian, Spain, create wonderful paintings on 4x4" tiles. I painted tiles for awhile, moving on to oil on canvas, until I found Joyce Hall and her wonderful studio in Charleston, South Carolina. I study and paint with Joyce and her students and she is simply an extraordinary teacher.
My husband and I have lived on the Isle of Palms for 10 years, having retired here after raising our two sons in McLean, Virginia. They both graduated from the College of Charleston but are far away on their own adventures now. We share a love of travel.
